Iowa Rents Privacy Policy

Iowa Rents ("we," "us") manages residential and commercial rental properties in western Iowa. This policy explains how we handle information collected through our phone line and text messages.

Information we collect: When you call us, we may collect your phone number, your name, and details you give us, such as a property address or a maintenance issue. Calls may be recorded and transcribed to provide service and keep records of consent.

Text messages: We send text messages only to callers who verbally agree, during a call to (515) 303-2944, to receive a text at the number they are calling from. Messages are informational only, such as links to our rental application, showing scheduler, available rentals, resident portal, or confirmation of a maintenance request. We do not send marketing or promotional texts. Message frequency varies, usually 1-3 messages per call. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Sharing: We do not sell or rent your phone number or personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We may share information only with service providers who help us operate our phone and messaging services, or when required by law.

Iowa Rents Text Message Terms and Conditions

Program: Iowa Rents sends informational text messages from (515) 303-2944. These may include rental application links, showing scheduling links, available rental listings, resident portal login links, and maintenance request confirmations.

How you opt in: When you call Iowa Rents, our automated phone assistant will ask if you'd like a link sent by text. You opt in by saying yes during the call. We text only the number you're calling from, or another number you give us on that call.

Message frequency: Usually one to three messages for each call where you ask for a text. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

Costs: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Opt out: Reply STOP at any time. You'll get one message confirming you're unsubscribed, and you won't get more texts unless you opt in again.

Consent is not required: You don't have to agree to receive texts to rent from or do business with Iowa Rents.

Carriers: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
